Job Overview The primary function of our Data Entry Specialist will be to operate data entry devices, such as keyboards or computers, to verify and input data accurately. This role is crucial in ensuring the documentation of accurate information and managing personal projects effectively. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, including documentation skills and time management, to excel in this position. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving source documents, entering data into specific fields, and ensuring the accuracy of assessments and information. Key Responsibilities Review and approve source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data into specific fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners. Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff to ensure accuracy and attention to detail. Approve and audit data with source documents, reviewing and auditing logs of activities and completed work to maintain high standards of quality. Work independently to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity goals. Collaborate with the team to ensure assessments are accurate and work with the correct Point of Contact (POC) to guarantee accuracy and efficiency. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: Prior experience in Service coordination and experience with InterRAI assessments. Clinical knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on technologically proficiency. High school diploma or GED required, with 5-7 years of related experience. Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and accurately document and record customer/client information. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of data entry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data entry errors.
