Job Description: Candidates MUST reside in the state of California Position Overview We are seeking an Experienced Resolution Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our ambitious and growing firm. This role, within our Workers’ Compensation Department, offers the opportunity to resolve and negotiate cases independently, assess case values, and focus on securing settlements for our clients. If you have a strong background in workers’ compensation law and a passion for advocating for employees, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities The ability to resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload efficiently. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in a case. Review and evaluate case files to determine legal strategy. Independently assess case value, including reviewing QME reports and conducting depositions if necessary. The ability to calculate demands – Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Future Medical, etc. Handle case negotiations and settlements. Potential travel to assigned trial locations as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 1+ years of legal Workers’ Compensation experience. Proven track record of the ability to meet or exceed settlement metric requirements. Strong knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations. Expertise in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision. Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams). Additional Information: Department Workers' Compensation Employment Type Full Time Location California Workplace type Remote – Must reside in California Compensation $65,000 – $80,000 / yearly depending on experience
