Renewable Natural Gas Compliance Specialist
Job Description: • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for renewable attribute programs across Ameresco’s Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities. • Manage all registrations, certifications, and compliance activities to maintain program integrity and maximize revenue. • Acquire and maintain certifications for RNG attributes under various programs. • Oversee production and sales volume reconciliation; ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition. • Collect and maintain RNG production data for Quality Assurance Programs (QAP) and RIN generation. • Prepare and distribute affidavits for renewable attribute generation. • Support new program registrations and monitor regulatory changes. • Administer submissions and transfers for RINs and other renewable attributes. • Conduct routine reviews and updates to program registrations. Requirements: • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferred with RNG or RIN sales contracts. • Direct experience managing EPA RFS compliance activities preferred, including facility registration. • Excellent written & verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively build and maintain coworker, client and external partner relationships.
