The US company is now ready to address this tech debt but is also keen to continue delivering enhancements to the software that... improve the efficiency of their business processes and improve their customer-facing systems.Position Overview:We require a creative thinker coupled with strong skills across the Full Microsoft stack including but not limited to:NETC#WinFormsHTMLRestful APIsSQL ServerGIT-based Version ControlVisual StudioType of Person:Confident independent worker who is comfortable working remotely as a self-starter with limited supervision. We are looking for someone who has a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new, related skills and experiences.You Would Be Interested In:Growing from pure development to analysing business processes that drive technical requirements and identifying solutions that satisfy the needs of the business.The opportunity to actively engage in all stages of the software development life cycle, from feature definition to delivery and ongoing review and improvement.Key Responsibilities:Recommend and design solutions that meet requirements.Create solution designs and a roadmap that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy, and how it will be delivered aligning to architecture and delivery standards.Apply modern software development practices.Create efficient and robust designs for software components and effectively communicate and document these to the team and client.Support and maintain existing software as well as getting involved with greenfield projects.Unit and integration testing of components under development.Further Experience:Extensive experience of working with server, desktop, and networks.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with security and data protection best practices.Able to provide input to, and technical solutions to business requirements.Able to create and maintain documentation relating to:Code developmentModificationsTroubleshooting and problem resolution steps.Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.Effective communication and client relationship skills.A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team.
