Key Responsibilities
Ā Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
Ā Follow strict style guides to produce verbatim transcripts
Ā Collaborate remotely with our in-office team for any necessary guidance
Ā Ensure timely delivery of transcripts while maintaining high standards of quality
Required Skills
Ā Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping
Ā Exceptional listening skills with a keen attention to detail
Ā Strong literacy skills including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
Ā Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology
Ā Ability to handle challenging audio/text content
Ā Capability to work independently and manage deadlines
Qualifications
Ā Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is required
Ā Court reporting students may also be considered
Ā Ability to pass a background check is essential
