Defined.ai is a leading provider of high-quality, ethically sourced data for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) model training. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager for AI Data who will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data that powers their AI models, leading the strategy for large-scale data collection and complex semantic annotation. Responsibilities • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents • Manage project interdependencies and identify potential "bottlenecks" before they impact the timeline • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary • Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company • Act as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and executive leadership • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements Skills • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in AI • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred) • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory • Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models • Proficiency in Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com Benefits • Flexible working schedule and hybrid model. • Excellent career development opportunities in a high growth company. • Culture of feedback and continuous improvement. • An international and diverse team. • Continuous training opportunities. • We love to have fun together.
