The role involves answering patient scheduling calls, managing appointments, and providing exceptional customer service in a remote work environment. Responsibilities Answer inbound patient scheduling calls and address concerns to meet department service level goals Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately following established protocols Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information with precision Utilize multiple software systems while maintaining effective communication with patients Provide exceptional customer service and escalate issues to management as necessary Skills High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of one year of previous call center or customer service experience Basic healthcare knowledge preferred One year of related experience in a medical setting, with knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Windows Office programs Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute Previous experience in a healthcare-related role Knowledge of medical scheduling practices Benefits 401k PTO Medical Dental Vision Tuition reimbursement Company Overview At Prism Data Consulting, we transform raw information into strategic insights.
