REMOTE Sr. Mortgage Underwriter (DE/LAPP/SAR)

Your Impact
As a Senior Underwriter, you won't just be checking boxes. You will:
ā¢ Decision a Full Spectrum: Handle FHA, VA, Conforming, USDA, and Bond/Grant programs.
ā¢ Be a Subject Matter Expert: Act as a go-to resource for loan officers and processors to help structure complex files.
ā¢ Drive Quality: Ensure minimal turn times while maintaining "zero-defect" quality standards.
ā¢ Leverage AI: Work within a high-tech ecosystem designed to streamline your workflow and reduce manual "grunt work."
ā¢ **Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus but not a requirement*****
ā¢ FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) with an active CHUMS ID.
ā¢ VA Supervised Automatic Review (SAR) with an active VA SAR ID.
ā¢ 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience
ā¢ Expertise in AUS systems (DU/LPA) and proficiency in Byte (or similar LOS)
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining a collaborative team player
