Procurement Analyst ** 100% Remote **
About the position The Procurement Analyst position at Suna Solutions Inc is a remote role focused on the acquisition of goods and services, including equipment and contracting for professional services. The analyst will engage with vendors to gather essential information regarding services, pricing, and performance guarantees, and will document and analyze this data to support procurement decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with ERP systems. Responsibilities • Perform basic research and analysis via outreach to vendors to gather data to create vendor profiles. • Maintain data gathered in Excel or MS Word and conduct basic analysis by creating Excel workbooks and pivot tables. • Conduct initial pricing/contract analysis to determine if prices can be lowered and terms improved, with supervision. • Develop advanced spreadsheets and documentation to support analysis. • Assist in the operational implementation of new vendors and program changes impacting vendor services. • Maintain administrative documents for assigned vendors utilizing MS Word, Excel, or ERP system. Requirements • Strong level of proficiency in standard spreadsheet and word processing software. • Advanced Excel and analytical skills. • Price negotiations experience. • Contract knowledge. • Hospital experience preferred. • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge of organization's departments and operations required to meet procurement needs. • Strong skills in the use of ERP/financial systems (such as Allscripts, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner, etc.). • Analytical skills necessary to evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of multiple and complex purchasing options. • Ability to read and interpret terms and conditions of contracts.
