About the Role We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Service Team Coordinator to join our call center team. As a key player in our patient-centric approach, you'll be responsible for handling outbound and inbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, general inquiries, and other patient sales and service interactions. Your exceptional customer service skills will be the cornerstone of our efforts to support better health outcomes and drive business success. Key Responsibilities Provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced, structured call center environment, ensuring timely and effective resolutions to patient inquiries. Make informed decisions according to department standards, procedures, and policies, leveraging your expertise to drive patient satisfaction. Utilize web-based technology to document interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Collaborate with employees across multiple departments, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication. Follow up with patients to ensure they're satisfied with the service they've received, promoting loyalty and trust. Respond to patient inquiries based on the ChenMed core model for care, providing proactive solutions and support. Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of our organization. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of one year of related customer or patient services experience. Strong verbal communication skills, including active listening, to effectively engage with patients and colleagues. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for serving others, particularly seniors, with proactive solutions and empathy. Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10% of the time. Spoken and written fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are preferred. Preferred Qualifications A minimum of one year of experience working in a call center environment. A minimum of one year of experience working in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Experience with web-based customer relationship management systems.
