Infrastructure Engineer (Mid-level, Senior, or Staff) (Remote)

What We Need Certified Tracking Solutions (CTS) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to further our global infrastructure practice as we scale and unify our AWS-based platforms. The title of this role could vary from Mid-level, Senior, to Staff Infrastructure Engineer based on your experience. This is a remote role with office space available for those in Edmonton, AB, CAN. What You'll Do • Monitor, remediate, and improve production environments for customer-facing applications • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Contribute to our next-gen Kubernetes migration and infrastructure improvements • Build self-service tools to empower developers across our SDLC • Collaborate on cross-functional teams to design resilient distributed systems • Promote infrastructure-as-code and automation across all layers of our platform Core Requirements • 3-12 years of relevant experience • Strong experience with: • AWS (production environments) • Kubernetes (in production) • Terraform (IaC for infrastructure management) • Comfortable with production support, incident response, and monitoring best-practices Bonus Experience • CI/CD (preferably GitLab CI) • Linux systems administration • Database operations • Python, Go, or another high-level language • REST API design and API Gateway • Event streaming/message buses • Ansible / Red Hat Automation Platform What We Offer • Remote work • Fast paced and rapidly growing environment • Chance to deliver mission critical data that drives the operations of our economy • Opportunity for professional growth and development • Possibility to learn new and cutting-edge technologies, in an environment that encourages new ideas • There's more as well!
