[Remote] Sales Consultant III - New Business Development (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a Sales Consultant III for new business development within the middle market space. This role involves leading sales initiatives, building relationships with partners and prospects, and requires a deep understanding of selling to self-insured customers with complex benefit arrangements. Responsibilities • Achieve sales goals and profitable growth for the organization • Position and sell multiple lines of coverage, medical, stop loss, dental and vision • Strategize on proposals to ensure we are meeting the clients objectives and delivering our value proposition • Be proactive, organized, responsive, detail oriented and track all sales data within the required platforms • Develop long term relationships with both internal and external constituents • Ability to strategize and organize a team of subject matter experts for finalist meetings • Continuously meet with our consultant partners and keep them informed on new products, updates, and relevant information to their business Skills • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience • 8 years sales/healthcare experience in a similar sales position • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve for prospects challenges • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Must be able to meet established deadlines for proposals and work closely with internal constituents • Current health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia Upon Hire Required • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship Benefits • Comprehensive benefits package • Various incentive programs/plans • 401k contribution programs/plans Company Overview • CareFirst.
