Burk Agency is a fast-growing, family-operated independent insurance agency, and they are seeking remote Life Insurance Agents who are self-starters and passionate about helping others. The role involves developing a client base, providing tailored life insurance solutions, and managing your own schedule while receiving ongoing support and mentorship. Responsibilities • Developing a client base through leads • Learning about and providing tailored life insurance solutions to families, individuals, and business owners via phone, Zoom, or in person • Building relationships with clients while educating them on the right products to protect what matters most • Contacting and following up with prospective clients (leads) • Managing your own schedule while staying accountable to your goals • Attending live weekly training sessions to improve your skills and stay ahead of industry changes • Keeping detailed records of client communication to ensure long-term relationship-building and future service • Maintaining a high level of professionalism, empathy, and ethical standards in every client interaction • Adhering to state regulatory licensing requirements Skills • A current life and health insurance license issued by your home state followed by contracting with insurance carriers (you will be completely guided through these processes) • A strong work ethic and a desire to grow personally and financially • Great communication skills—verbal and written (Service industry experience is a plus!) • The ability to manage your time, calendar, and priorities effectively • Comfort with technology—CRM systems, Zoom, email, and basic Microsoft/Apple tools (training provided) • Valid U.S. Driver’s License Education Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent Benefits • Health & dental benefits available • All-expenses-paid incentive trips for top performers • Flexible schedule – Part-time or full-time options • Family-like culture with unmatched leadership, training, and support • Agency and carrier bonuses and reward trips available Company Overview • We are a family owned and operated insurance brokerage agency that is passionate about helping individuals and families get the coverage and protection they are looking for.
