[Remote] Patient Engagement Specialist

Enterra Medical, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and outgoing individual to join their team as a part-time Patient Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients interested in their therapy, providing empathetic support and guidance throughout their journey.ResponsibilitiesContact patients who have expressed interest in Enterra Therapy and serve as an initial point of connectionProvide empathetic, professional support by actively listening, addressing concerns, and handling sensitive or confidential situations with discretionGuide patients by explaining available support services and connecting them with the appropriate Patient Liaisons or internal expertsEnsure patients feel informed and supported throughout their journey by offering clear information and timely follow‑upManage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, delivering friendly, solution‑focused assistanceGather information, schedule appointments, complete required outreach, and resolve questions efficientlyDocument all interactions accurately in the CRM or call‑tracking systemMeet established call‑quality, compliance, and performance standards, including service‑level expectationsEscalate or transfer calls appropriately when additional expertise or support is neededWork closely with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the overall patient experienceParticipate in ongoing training to stay current on products, services, and communication best practicesOther duties as neededSkillsOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patientsEmpathetic and compassionate demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situationsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in using CRM software and other relevant computer applicationsPrevious experience in customer service, inside sales or a related field preferredBenefitsAnnual bonusCompany OverviewEnterra Medical is a medical device company dedicated to a singular focus: helping more people with chronic gastroparesis live better lives by advancing technology, expanding clinical science, and accelerating access to the Enterra® Therapy.* Gastroparesis is a condition in which food moves through the stomach too slowly, causing chronic nausea and vomiting.
