We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as a Patient Coordinator, where you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking medical assistance and support. As a Patient Coordinator, you will build trust with patients, provide compassion and empathy, and accurately document their needs prior to them speaking with a nurse. Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
1+ years of customer service experience required
1-2 years of healthcare experience desired
Inbound call center experience preferred
Ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm
Excellent organizational and computer skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent listening and comprehension skills
Professional, courteous telephone voice
Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy
Ability to defuse conversations and escalate if necessary
Ability to handle confidential information; HIPAA experience a plus
Remote Workstation Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 23 megabits download and 10 megabits upload)
Hardwired internet connection (no WiFi)
Reliable telephone line (land-line or VOIP from the same company as your internet)
Quiet, private workspace with a lockable door
Ability to provide a HIPAA-compliant workspace
