Dark Garden Bookkeeper (Remote) Company Overview: Dark Garden Unique Corsetry is a bespoke fashion company specializing in corsets and couture designs. Position Overview: Dark Garden Unique Corsetry is seeking a mid-level to experienced bookkeeper to join our diverse, fast-paced team. This is a part-time, entirely remote, W-2 position starting at 15–25 hours a week at $25–28/hour with room to grow in both hours and pay rate.Key Responsibilities: • Weekly cash flow status and forecast reports to share with leadership in weekly meetings • Weekly sales report reconciliation and entry, including resolving any sales input errors with on-site staff • Weekly review and categorization of downloaded transactions • Daily updates to cash flow status and prioritizing needs to fulfill outstanding AP • Daily to weekly AP entry and fulfillment • Daily review and response to staff expense requests • After-event reporting of income and expenses to calculate ROI • Biweekly coordination of payroll with operations/HR manager, and payroll-related AP including calculating and executing workers comp and 401k contributions • Monthly AR review and tracking • Monthly books close • Annual books close and assisting the accounting consultant with tax preparation • Special projects as requestedQualifications: • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience • QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certified or equivalent • Confident in client-facing meetings • Strong, clear communicator (written & verbal) • Organized, proactive, and highly detail oriented • Excited to keep learning Tools we use: QuickBooks Online, bolthires Suite, Asana, Bill.com, Rippling, Lightspeed, Square, Stripe, and more Location & Schedule: • Remote • Available for online meetings during PST hours (9am–5pm) Email [email protected] with: • Your resume • Your QBO/equivalent certification or the date you plan to have it completed • How long have you been doing bookkeeping & programs used • If you run your own business, whether you’re incorporated or LLCThe hiring process includes 2+ interviews with the head of accounting, office manager, and possibly other management team members as needed.Hourly rate: $25+ DOE.
