[Remote] PART-TIME PAYROLL SPECIALIST - CALL CENTER (REMOTE - CHARLOTTE, NC)

They are seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to handle a high volume of incoming calls, create work orders, process payroll, and support field managers with payroll applications.
Responsibilities
β’ Answer a high volume of incoming calls according to established procedures and performance standards
β’ Create work orders and capture structured data for each issue to provide audit trails and statistical analysis
β’ Ability to understand and follow documented departmental processes
β’ Ability to understand questions/issues presented by the field managers; direct field managers to Helix; escalate information to others
β’ Follow established payroll guidelines
β’ Ability to learn and understand Compass Payroll applications (SAP, MySTAFF, MyRequests, Helix, and other applications as assigned) to adequately support the workload
β’ Process and respond to emails according to standard procedures
β’ Process off-cycle checks according to standard procedures
β’ Perform other team-specific tasks as assigned
Skills
β’ Effective oral and written communication skills
β’ Bachelor's degree preferred
β’ Payroll processing knowledge preferred
β’ SAP experience preferred
