They are seeking an applied scientist with expertise in NLP and/or Computer Vision to solve complex problems in medical document understanding and improve AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Solve complex problems in medical document understanding and question-answering using modern NLP and vision methodologies
ā¢ Make data-driven decisions on algorithms and techniques tailored to specific business challenges
ā¢ Work with limited and noisy labeled data, bootstrapping and iterating to improve model output in practical, real-world settings
ā¢ Continuously evaluate and optimize models for scalability and performance in production environments
ā¢ Learn the intricacies of the healthcare domain and evolve into an industry expert over time
Skills
ā¢ Expertise in NLP and/or Computer Vision
ā¢ Strong Software Engineering Skills
ā¢ Ability to solve complex problems in medical document understanding and question-answering using modern NLP and vision methodologies
ā¢ Experience making data-driven decisions on algorithms and techniques tailored to specific business challenges
ā¢ Ability to work with limited and noisy labeled data, bootstrapping and iterating to improve model output in practical, real-world settings
ā¢ Experience continuously evaluating and optimizing models for scalability and performance in production environments
ā¢ Willingness to learn the intricacies of the healthcare domain and evolve into an industry expert over time
