[Remote] Military & Veteran Recruiter (Remote)

United Airlines is seeking a Military and Veteran Recruiter to lead their strategic efforts in attracting and placing qualified military personnel and veterans into open positions. The role involves translating military experience to civilian roles, maintaining candidate pipelines, and building relationships within military and veteran communities. Responsibilities • Attend military and veteran career fairs, networking events, and recruitment conferences • Create and organize on-site and virtual targeted recruitment events for military and veteran communities • Develop invitation strategies and outreach campaigns for recruitment events • Proactively source and identify qualified military personnel and veterans across various specialties • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified military and veteran candidates for Management & Administrative (M&A) and frontline roles • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to match candidates with appropriate opportunities • Translate military experience and competencies into relevant civilian skill sets • Provide regular guidance and training to recruiting staff and hiring managers on the veteran/military community to ensure thorough understanding of this talent pool • Build relationships with military and veteran organizations, military bases, transition assistance programs, and key veteran career contacts Skills • 2+ years of Recruiting experience or relevant work experience • Up to 30% travel or as needed • Ability to effectively translate military experience to civilian skills • Working understanding of military ranks and MOS/AFSC/NEC codes • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position • Airline/Aviation experience • Phenom experience • Military Veteran Recruiter Certification Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Life • Accident & disability • Parental leave • Employee assistance program • Commuter • Paid holidays • Paid time off • 401(k) • Flight privileges Company Overview • United Airlines is an aviation company that provides information on reservations, bookings, and travel services online.
