Compliance Officer.
Compliance Officer is responsible for designing, overseeing, and continuously improving compliance programs to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role requires balancing compliance requirements with operational practicality, strong investigative and analytical skills, and trusted communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
ā¢ Draft, update, and enforce compliance policies across departments (finance, HR, IT, operations).
ā¢ Conduct risk assessments across business units, identify areas of exposure, document findings, and recommend controls.
ā¢ Implement compliance monitoring programs, conduct regular internal audits, and track findings in GRC tools (Archer, ServiceNow, or similar).
ā¢ Ensure adherence to frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or industry-specific regulations.
ā¢ Develop and deliver training programs for employees on compliance obligations, code of conduct, and regulatory updates.
ā¢ Conduct internal investigations into compliance issues, document findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
ā¢ Deliver compliance dashboards, monthly/quarterly reports, and risk summaries to executives and boards.
