Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst Location: Remote Annual Salary: USD 59,000 Job Description: Overview: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient management and coordination of our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and remotely. Key Responsibilities: • Data Analysis and Reporting: • Analyze supply chain data and logistics operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain activities. • Use data analytics tools and techniques to provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Supply Chain Optimization: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain processes and workflows. • Assess and improve inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce carrying costs. • Identify and implement strategies to streamline supply chain operations, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency. • Vendor and Supplier Management: • Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery, quality, or compliance issues. • Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers to achieve Remotexa savings and maintain favorable conditions. • Logistics Coordination: • Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. • Track shipments and manage logistics-related documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or disruptions promptly. • Risk Management: • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions. • Monitor and evaluate the impact of external factors (e.g., market trends and geopolitical events) on supply chain operations. • Technology and Tools: • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions. • Provide training and support to team members on using supply chain management tools and systems. • Project Management: • Lead and participate in supply chain-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. • Develop project plans, set objectives, and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals. • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns. • Customer Service: • Work closely with customer service teams to address and resolve customer inquiries and logistics and supply chain issues. • Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely order status and delivery information. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus. • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline and motivation. Additional Information: • This is a remote position; candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or site visits.
