Key Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Management: Execute customer-specific workflows, manage coding requirements, and ensure optimal collections, while handling charges, transactions, and accounts receivable.
Compliance and Research: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and payer regulatory updates, access relevant websites, and research coding and billing requirements.
Professional Development and Collaboration: Participate in training, collaborate with internal teams, and build relationships with members and customers to meet their needs.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze workflows, establish best practices, and serve as a mentor and resource for team members to drive efficiency and excellence.
Remote Work Environment and Schedule
This full-time remote position offers a flexible work environment, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of billing experience
Experience with clearinghouses and healthcare portals
Excellent communication and customer service skills
NextGen EPM/EDR experience or similar software proficiency
Highly Desired Qualifications
FQHC billing experience
NextGen EPM, EDR, and/or Optical experience
Dental billing experience
Behavioral Health billing experience
Proficiency in MS Excel
