Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. Typing in data provided directly from customers with high accuracy. Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes. Verifying data by comparing it to source documents to ensure accuracy. Updating existing data in our systems to keep information current. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by the team or management. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and compliance with company policies. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a relevant role, demonstrating your ability to accurately and efficiently manage data. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, particularly MS Office Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in data entry tasks.
