[Remote] Data Analyst/SQL Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DATAMAXIS is seeking a Data Analyst/SQL Developer to analyze and develop complex SQL for data warehouse reporting and analytics. The role involves working with internal teams and customers to document requirements, assist with user acceptance testing, and analyze Medicaid data. Responsibilities • Analyze and develop complex SQL supporting data warehouse downstream reporting and analytics • Analysis of current business processes and systems, and documenting requirements for new processes and systems • Work with the internal team and the customer on business documentation and updates • Assist with user acceptance testing, including defect reporting and follow-up. Help with the development of test scenarios and acceptance criteria • Help with developing presentations for the internal team or for the customer. Solicit input from Others pull information together to create a professional presentation. • Work with the team to document updates needed for the Operations Guide • Assist with analysis of Medicaid enrollment, provider, and claims data, and document requirements, use cases • Assist with identifying and documenting data anomalies and collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective resolution • Share use cases with data analysts for profiling, reviewing results, and inferring compliance to Medicaid/CMS processes and guidelines • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and ensure availability to answer questions and clarifications from data analysts • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help where needed Skills • Healthcare business analysis experience supporting business initiatives through data analysis, writing business requirements and user acceptance testing of various systems • 2+ years of Unix/Linux Shell (Bash/Korn) scripting experience • Advanced ANSI SQL coding experience • Healthcare claims and encounters experience • Be a self-starter and able to thrive in an environment with little guidance • Strong time management and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel • Effective organizational, analytical, time management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, and habits; ability to complete assignments under tight deadlines with little/no direct supervision • Experience working with PERM, T-MSIS, CMS Federal Reporting (CMS-416, CMS-64, etc.) or similar projects • Experience working with Quality-of-Care Reporting (HEDIS, CMS Core Set, etc.) • Experience with Symmetry EBM Connect • Experience with the Teradata DBMS • Knowledge of data integration, software enhancements/planning and agile methodologies • Experience with using Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, Visio Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field Company Overview • DATAMAXIS takes pride in delivering a wide range of business IT modernization, data analytics, and technology management services.
