Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer (2days in a week) Location: Hybrid (Irving, TX) (F2F Interview Required) Contract: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visualizations that support decision-making processes. Your expertise in Databricks, Kafka, data visualization, and API consumption will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Databricks and other relevant tools. Implement and manage data pipelines using Kafka for real-time data processing. Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI Integrate and consume data from third-party applications via APIs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Implement and optimize Spark jobs, data transformations, and data processing workflows. Qualifications: Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Databricks and Kafka.
Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI Experience with API integration and data consumption from third-party applications. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Python or Scala. Experience with Azure Databricks and other Azure services. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with predictive analytics.
