Structural CAD & Revit BIM Modeler/Designer - Bellevue, WA

They are seeking a Structural CAD & Revit BIM Modeler/Designer to develop detailed structural drawings and collaborate with engineers to ensure project compliance and execution for renewable energy and power delivery projects. Responsibilities Develop and prepare detailed structural drawings and layouts for substations and renewable energy projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret design concepts and produce accurate drawings that comply with project specifications and industry standards Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry regulations specific to substation and renewable energy designs Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project stakeholders Conduct site visits to gather information and verify dimensions for existing structures Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and project plans Maintain organized project files and documentation for substation and renewable energy projects Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates related to project timelines and deliverables Stay current with advancements in CAD technology and structural design practices, particularly in relation to substation and renewable energy projects Skills Associate degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a CAD/Revit Modeler, preferably within substation or renewable energy projects; experience in other construction sectors is also encouraged Demonstrated experience documenting structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, and foundation designs in CAD and Revit Proficiency in interpreting outputs in structural modeling software such as STADD Pro and foundation design tools such as LPile is a plus Working knowledge of 3D civil software, including AutoCad Civil 3D, is a plus Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and practices applicable to substation and renewable energy projects Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment Ability to manage CAD and Revit plans and details across multiple projects while meeting established deadlines Benefits Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Financial wellness: Health Savings Account (HSA) and Lifestyle Spending Account with employer contributions Professional development: Support for continuing education and training opportunities.
