The role involves designing and optimizing REST and GraphQL APIs, managing database migrations, and collaborating with research teams during testing cycles. Responsibilities • Design and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs using Go • Implement validation, error handling, and security best practices • Manage database migrations, schema updates, and performance tuning • Test AI coding models in Cursor during real backend workflows • Document bugs, incidents, and findings with clear reports • Collaborate with research teams via Slack during testing cycles • Submit post-testing surveys with structured feedback Skills • Strong backend development experience with Golang • Strong experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs • Solid understanding of backend security and data validation • Experience with database migrations and schema design • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced remote environment • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor preferred) Company Overview • At Crossing Hurdles, we specialise in customised recruitment and staffing solutions designed to drive success for businesses and professionals.
