Remote Audiology Scheduler (Spanish Required)

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience scheduling in a medical environment, audiology experience a plus.
MUST speak Spanish fluently
Experience interpreting authorizations and detailed insurance verifications (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and IPA/Medical Group referrals).
Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
Outstanding phone and customer service skills.
Proficiency with computerized patient scheduling programs.
Superior organizational skills, initiative, follow-through and the ability to meet deadlines without heavy supervision.
Superb oral and written communication skills including proper spelling, grammar and punctuation (no exceptions.)
Responsibilities include:
HEAVY appointment scheduling.
Pre-appointment preparation: E-mailing paperwork, registering patients, requesting insurance verifications and authorization revisions.
Follow-up phone calls to patients as directed
