About the Role: As an Anticipated Certified Music Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive music education curriculum that aligns with school district goals and objectives. Your duties will include:
Developing and teaching music lessons to students in grades K-12, with a focus on vocal music, choir, and woodwinds
Identifying and promoting each student's unique talents and abilities in musical expression
Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages individualized and small group instruction
Conducting ongoing assessments of student progress and modifying instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Planning and directing musical programs and performances outside the classroom
Collaborating with colleagues and participating in faculty meetings and committees
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with students, parents, and administrators
