[Remote] Android Engineer - SDKs (Contract - Spain or US)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossmint is a developer platform that enables companies to utilize stablecoins and blockchains for modern financial applications. The Android SDK Engineer will be responsible for designing and building mobile SDKs, collaborating with teams, and mentoring fellow engineers.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Designing and architecting mobile SDKs from the ground up
ā¢ Building SDKs for core features such as authentication, smart wallets, and payments
ā¢ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the business needs and translate them into mobile SDK solutions
ā¢ Documenting your architecture and design choices clearly and concisely
ā¢ Owning your projects end to end: from initial concept through to deployment and support
ā¢ Mentoring other team members as we grow the mobile engineering team
Skills
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in Android development
ā¢ 1+ year specifically in mobile SDK development (not just mobile app development) in Java or Kotlin
ā¢ Excellent written and spoken English
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills with industry experience
ā¢ Expert knowledge in Java and/or Kotlin
ā¢ Experience with blockchain or Web3 technologies, particularly in relation to wallets or payment systems
ā¢ Provable experience shipping high quality code
ā¢ Experience working on a team and references to back it
ā¢ React Native or Flutter experience
