[Remote] AI Prompt Engineer Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GDIT is seeking an AI Prompt Engineer Associate to design, refine, and test prompts for various AI use cases. The role involves collaborating with AI-ML subject-matter experts to develop clear, effective instructions for AI-enabled software solutions. Responsibilities Create, test, and refine prompts for various AI use cases (vibe coding, content generation, workflows, classification, etc.) Analyze AI outputs for accuracy, quality, tone, and adherence to requirements under supervision Document prompt templates, test cases, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand program goals and translate them into effective prompt strategies Identify edge cases, failure modes, and opportunities to improve reliability Maintain libraries of prompts and ensure consistent style and instructions across program under senior level supervision Stay current on generative AI capabilities, limitations, and emerging techniques Skills 0+ years of related experience Excellent problem-solving skills with creative mindset Strong communication skills to collaborate with other program members and stakeholders Curiosity about AI systems, how they work, and how to optimize generative AI responses Strong analytical thinking Comfort with iterative experimentation and attention to detail Experience using AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc.) Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or High School Degree 4 years of relevant experience with High School Degree Certifications in Prompt Engineering Experience in writing, editing, and content development using GenAI is a plus Benefits Vision Medical Dental Paid Time Off Life Insurance Retirement Company Overview We find the best job offers for experts in ChatGPT and related technologies.
