[Remote] 2026 Internship - Interior Design

They are seeking an Interior Design Intern to support the interior design department with various projects related to designing spaces on cruise ships and managing the resource library. Responsibilities • Manage resource library in Seattle office. • Assist design department with design presentations to communicate design concepts. • Assist design department with sourcing products for design concepts. • Create 3-D models of spaces or products. • Assist with vendor meetings (receive, set up). • Request/return samples, manage mail, communicate with vendors. • Incorporate Sustainability knowledge and Circularity knowledge in design projects. • Communicate clearly and effectively to illustrate design intent. • Incorporate design creativity and share ideas to enhance design intent. Skills • Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. • MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2026. • 2 years CAD/Revit or similar. • 2 years 3D modeling. • 2 years Adobe Creative Suite. • 2 years using MS office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & MS Teams. • Ability to work independently and in a group environment with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and team working skills. • Ability to prioritize and maximize efficiency. • Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers. • The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills. • Interior Design Company Overview • Originally founded over 140 years ago, Holland America is a long estanblished name in the cruise industry.
