Overview:Priscilla’s Home Care, a premier provider of home care services in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role is vital in delivering high-quality home health services and ensuring the well-being of our elderly clients.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial client evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
Perform 30/60 day supervisory visits and re-assessments as required.
Provide patient care per nursing standards and the physician’s plan of treatment.
Supervise and support caregivers, including coaching, orientation, and education (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Dementia, COPD).
Monitor caregivers’ continuing education and compliance with policies.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Provide triage and on-call support as needed.
Travel to client homes across the Dallas service area.
Qualifications:
Current Texas RN license in good standing.
Minimum of 1 years of combined public health nursing and supervisory experience.
Valid driver’s license
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in using office equipment and maintaining electronic health records.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
Preferred Traits:
Calm and reassuring presence with active listening skills.
Passionate about working with the elderly.
Home healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
