Work with patients, pharmacies, providers, and payors to ensure insurance coverage
Verify patients' insurance coverage and perform benefit investigations
Assist with the appeal management process for claim denials
Maintain exceptional communication and phone etiquette while interacting with clients
Ensure compliance with all medical insurance procedures and policies
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance, medical claims, or medical billing
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must have exceptional communication and phone etiquette
High-speed internet access and the ability to work from home
Availability to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday between 7 am and 8 pm
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience working in a remote environment
Knowledge of medical insurance processes and regulations
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with medical billing software
