Our facility in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedics and Neurology team on a full-time weekend shift. About the Role As a Registered Nurse at Sanford Health, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. You will collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Your expertise will be valued as you care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and develop outcomes/planning for patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions Implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Provide patient education and triage services Perform various nursing interventions as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Qualifications Education and Licensure: Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA) Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of orthopedic and neurological nursing principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Compassion and empathy for patients and families What We Offer Competitive Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary range: $30.00 - $44.50 per hour Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Generous time off package Sign-on bonus and loan forgiveness available for eligible applicants Career Growth Opportunities: Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Professional development and continuing education programs Collaborative and supportive work environment Work Environment and Culture: State-of-the-art facilities and equipment Dynamic and supportive team environment Commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in nursing Why Join Sanford Health?
