About the Position A growing renewable energy company is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an
Regional O&M/Field Service Manager
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing uptime and ensuring optimal performance across a portfolio of solar energy facilities.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Ensure optimal asset performance to meet or exceed energy production targets
ā¢ Monitor and report on daily asset performance using asset management software
ā¢ Analyze performance data and troubleshoot operational issues
ā¢ Oversee third-party operations and maintenance (O&M) providers, ensuring execution of preventive and corrective tasks
ā¢ Recommend or implement performance improvement initiatives
ā¢ Conduct monthly site inspections and generate associated reports for internal and external stakeholders
ā¢ Track and manage O&M expenditures to remain within budget
ā¢ Prepare and issue regular internal and external performance reports
ā¢ Participate in periodic meetings with internal teams and external partners
ā¢ Interpret and enforce O&M agreements and contracts
ā¢ Manage timely renewals and renegotiations of contracts related to vegetation control and module cleaning
ā¢ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely renewal of licenses and permits
ā¢ Collaborate with asset management to support accurate monthly production data for invoicing
ā¢ Coordinate with data acquisition system (DAS) providers for performance tracking and subscription management
ā¢ Support technical due diligence for asset acquisitions
ā¢ Provide engineering or project management assistance to the construction team as needed
ā¢ Contribute to insurance claims processes when necessary
