Develop and implement strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the global travel and expense processes.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the travel and expense team, ensuring all processes and controls are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures related to travel and expenses, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and service providers.
Identify and manage risks related to travel and expense processes, and implement controls to mitigate those risks.
Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve processes and controls.
Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on the performance of the travel and expense processes and any potential issues or areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends related to travel and expense management, and make recommendations for process enhancements and improvements.
Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively execute their responsibilities.
Manage the budget and resources for the travel and expense team, ensuring efficient use of company resources.
Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, providing subject matter expertise and driving successful outcomes.
