Job Summary
We are seeking a certified RedBox Rx Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our RedBox Rx department, you will be responsible for processing prescription orders, assisting customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries, and performing data entry tasks. Key Responsibilities
Process prescription orders from RedBox Rx providers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Assist customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries via phone and email
Create new patient profiles and perform prescription data entry
Work collaboratively with co-workers to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies
Perform other related job duties and special projects as required
Handle inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment
Assist in adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and prescription information
Communicate effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certification as a licensed pharmacy technician through a national program (e.g., PTCB)
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and pharmacology
Skills and Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Physical Requirements
Ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction
Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, reaching, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
