Real Estate Financial Analyst – Development (Contract/Part-Time, Potential Full-Time)

Despard Analytics is a growing real estate consulting firm specializing in high-quality financial analysis for acquisition groups, developers, and brokers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Financial Analyst with 2 to 4 years of underwriting experience. This role will begin as a part-time or contract-based position, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and request typical diligence information
• Build and maintain financial models
• Collaborate with internal teams and interface with clients
• Document assumptions, maintain model version control, and organize deliverables
Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience underwriting ground-up development projects
• Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas, sensitivity analysis, and data visualization
• Solid understanding of real estate valuation metrics (e.g., IRR, cap rates, cash-on-cash returns)
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Position Details:
• Type: Contract / Part-time initially
• Hours: Flexible, estimated 5 to 15 hours/week to start with potential to grow to full-time
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
