Responsibilities:Quality Assurance (QA) support for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systemTypical day in life will include the following:Review requirements which will be typically captured in Jira but may sometimes be shared in other formatsCreate a detailed test plan capturing applicable pre-conditions, test case description, steps to execute, expected results, etc.Review test plan draft with developer(s) and Product ownerPrepare testing dataExecute test planReport any issues / bugs in Jira including details of what was expected vs what happened and attaching any supporting documentationRetest any previously reported issues to ensure everything works as expectedSupport downstream partners with data preparation for unrelated testingSupport manual data entry / data cleansing on as needed basisProvide daily status updates of work completed and work in progressWork closely with the Product Owner to prioritize work as neededRequirements:Minimum of 3 years' experience as a manual QA tester.Intermediate SQL and Excel skills.Ability to use Jira, Confluence and Google docs.Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.Strong ability to understand technical issues and how to communicate them to non-technical team members and leadership.Ability to write clear, concise and thorough test plans.Ability to work independently and provide daily status updates to the leader in a timely manner.Self-starter who is both flexible and comfortable working through uncertainties to reach a conclusion.Ability to work on multiple tracks and switch back and forth between them.Mature, grounded, can serve as a resource to others.Open minded and not complacent; proactive; detail-oriented and organized.Positive attitude with an enthusiastic, can-do outlook.Ability to work 40h per week, regular hours 8:30-5:30 PT (with 1h break) and flex occasionally to start earlier or later.Nice to Have Requirements:Knowledge of Centric 8 PLM systemExperience in Retail, eCommerce or Supply Chain areas
