Data Entry Specialist
The Fortune Society, Inc. has been working for over 57 years to support successful reentry from incarceration and promote alternatives to incarceration. The Data Entry Specialist will verify and evaluate client data, ensure accuracy in reports, and support the data team with various tasks. Responsibilities Verify the accuracy of group and case management attendance in client court reports Evaluate client data to ensure the presence of necessary attendance records for group and case management sessions Confirm that all documentation for excused absences is uploaded and dates coincide Review client intake data against the court database for accuracy and report any discrepancies Participate in weekly meetings with court writers and program management as required Promptly and accurately monitor all client service data in program and funder-specific databases Support the data team with any ad-hoc data reports and requests Fulfill additional responsibilities as necessary Skills Associate's degree in data science, human services, criminal justice, or related field preferred Experience in quality assurance and/or quality improvementAdvanced knowledge of bolthires Office Suite Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills Company OverviewThe Fortune Society is an individuals with justice involvement rebuild their lives, through innovative services and advocacy.It was founded in 1967, and is headquartered in Long Island City, New York, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
