About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality digital products and driving excellence in software testing? We are seeking a proactive QA / Test Automation Engineer to join our team as we prepare for a high-impact solution. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the quality strategy of our platform, building resilient automation frameworks, and championing best practices across all phases of software delivery.
You will work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to integrate automated testing at every stage, providing assurance that our releases meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.
Mission: As a QA / Test Automation Engineer, you will take full ownership of test strategy and automation efforts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our platform. Your work will be critical in establishing robust release gates and delivering a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated test suites.
• Develop and execute performance and reliability test plans to identify bottlenecks and ensure system stability. Include PHIPA compliance checks in test suites.
• Own the test strategy, including the creation and management of test data tooling to support scalable automation.
• Define and enforce release gates and quality criteria for each stage of the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support rapid iterations.
• Collaborate with Medical Coding SME to validate clinical accuracy of code suggestions.
• Continuously assess, refine, and expand test coverage to accommodate evolving product requirements and new features.
• Monitor and report on testing outcomes, providing actionable feedback to improve product quality and delivery processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Proven experience in QA automation, including end-to-end and API testing.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cypress, Playwright, or similar modern test automation frameworks.
• Strong background in performance and reliability testing for web applications.
• Ability to design test strategies and implement scalable automation solutions under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with healthcare workflows or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of audit, traceability, and compliance-focused testing.
• Familiarity with building test data tooling and advanced reporting solutions.
• Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure and distributed systems testing.
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
