The Insurance Analyst will provide oversight support and technical capabilities across various insurance distribution channels, identify risks through data analysis, and maintain reporting trackers.ResponsibilitiesDeliver support for Insurance Supervision and Audit programsManage team inboxes and correspondenceMaintain and update audit and review trackersData management for reporting across programsExecute Quality Assurance video reviews for IDManage SharePoint sites and documentationManage cyber and privacy incident tracking and reportingProvide Business Continuity Plan (BCP) supportGenerate and deliver timely reports using Excel, Tableau and other digital toolsGenerate persistency reporting for Managing General Agencies (MGAs)Support data and other requests from regulatory bodies (e.g. Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators (CCIR), provincial authority/council)Lead digital program enhancementsProvide digital and technical support to Insurance oversight teamsData analysis across Insurance oversight teamsSend and receive annual Compliance Review Survey (CRS) requests for the ID channelSkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Excel and PowerPointExcellent data analysis and reporting skillsExperienced in SharePoint and tracking system managementAble to use technical tools for Survey design and managementKnowledge of Insurance products, internal systems and processesWanting to gain more knowledge of insurance regulatory landscape that govern Insurance businessOrganized, and able to prioritize and adapt to multiple requests efficientlyHave strong written and verbal communicationEnthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration workBilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwideCompany OverviewSun Life is a leading financial services organization dedicated to helping people achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
