Provider Network Intern
Position Description
We are seeking highly motivated, creative individuals with diverse backgrounds, superior academic credentials, and significant personal achievements to assist our Healthcare Delivery team on provider contracting initiatives.
This internship provides a challenging environment where contribution, teamwork, and communication are vital to the success of the organization. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in various experiences through meaningful work assignments, observation opportunities, and social interactions.
In the spirit of our organization, interns will be given the opportunity to complete a service project with one of our community partners.
Interns will participate in ongoing company initiatives and be challenged to translate their classroom learning into fresh perspectives that positively impact our colleagues, members, and the communities we serve.
Interns will have the opportunity to formally present the outcomes of their experience and share their unique perspective with our executive and extended leadership team.
A variety of our team members will provide interns with periodic feedback and professional development programming.
The internship program strives to provide interns with formal and informal opportunities for networking with our staff and participating in company-wide learning events.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program in a field related to healthcare administration, business, or a related field of study.
Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale or equivalent).
Ability to commit full-time to an 1113-week program.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to commit to an onsite or hybrid work schedule.
Location:
This position is classified as hybrid, requiring onsite work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
