Job Highlights: Compensation: Competitive salary of $22.00 per hour Position: Provider Data Entry Specialist Start Date: Immediate openings available Location: Remote work opportunity (EST zone candidates only) Company: Workwarp Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, PTO (15 days), and 401(k) with match Job Summary: The Provider Data Entry Specialist is a critical role that requires meticulous attention to detail and efficiency in processing incoming requests to optimize claims adjudication. As a Provider Data Entry Specialist, you will receive provider information from external sources for system updates and apply your knowledge and experience to validate the provided information. Your primary responsibilities will include accurate data entry and maintenance of provider records in the computer system, emphasizing precision and timeliness. Key Responsibilities: Receive and process provider information from external sources for system updates Validate and verify provider demographic and contract affiliation information Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of provider records in the computer system Conduct regular audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy Provide documented feedback when necessary Support system/health plan integration efforts Train existing staff and new hires Assist in system-related testing activities Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Managed Care Organization's policies and HIPAA regulations Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent GED 1+ year of managed care experience and/or medical office experience with coding or credentialing experience At least one year of medical office experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Adherence to Managed Care Organization's policies and confidentiality requirements Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office setting working in provider credentialing or related position Familiarity with health plan systems and operations Experience with data entry and record-keeping Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
