This role will focus on energy transition financing matters and is available in multiple U.S. offices. The position provides the opportunity to work on internationally recognized projects, including cutting-edge financing deals in the energy transition sector. Key Responsibilities: • Counsel clients on complex energy transition finance transactions, including financing and M&A of energy projects and companies. • Structure and negotiate tax equity financing and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters. • Collaborate with financial institutions, investors, and corporate clients to develop innovative financing solutions. • Provide regulatory guidance on structured finance in the energy sector. • Manage transaction lifecycles from due diligence to deal execution. • Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to support energy and infrastructure clients. Qualifications: • Education: JD from an accredited law school. • Bar Admission: Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction where you are applying. • Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in energy transition finance matters. • Prior experience handling tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization is required. • Experience at an Am Law 100 firm preferred. • Strong analytical, writing, and business judgment skills. • Excellent organizational, communication, and management abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Work Environment: • Hybrid: Regular in-office presence with flexibility for remote work. Compensation & Benefits: • Expected hiring range: $450,000 - $550,000 per year, depending on experience and location. • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
