Job Responsibilities Provide direct financial communication with project team and internal finance department Ensure financial information accuracy between program-level and subproject reporting. Support Project Management in project financial management and project level reporting. Oversee and identify plan deviations and recommend resolution for project manager. Monitor project performance and determine improvement areas by developing key performance indicators. Maintain current Cash Flow data compared to projected Cash Flow in order to provide meaningful input to the cash forecast Proactively provide project cost variance analysis for Project Manager for analyzing, predicting, informing or possible overruns Improve forecasting accuracy for projects to ensure stable profitability throughout the project lifecycle Enforce project data collection and verify accuracy of weekly estimates. Coordinate and assist with external accounting requirements Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions Closing the Books (Monthly/quarterly/annually), including variance analysis Manage the General Ledger (reconciliations, monthly reporting/analytics) Recommend and execute corrective actions to handle project compliance. Complete ad hoc assignments to support Project Management organization. Analyze and interpret all contractual requirements associated with projects and identify important financial terms and prepare report for management .Coordinate with project manager to build scope change management, monitor project status and update NetSuite internal monitoring tools and document control processes.
