Program Manager – Government Capital Projects and Transit Initiatives

Job Title Program Manager – Government Capital Projects & Transit Initiatives Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead high-impact capital programs for public infrastructure in New York. This role requires deep experience in managing large-scale project portfolios, engaging with multi-agency stakeholders, and ensuring strategic alignment across programs, budgets, and compliance objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee multiple interconnected projects across transit, construction, and technology domains. • Ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality are managed in accordance with agency goals. • Establish governance models and PMO reporting processes. • Coordinate cross-agency communications and stakeholder alignment. • Lead risk mitigation, escalation handling, and decision-making forums. • Deliver executive dashboards and strategic performance reporting. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management. Experience: • 10+ years leading complex programs in the public or transit sectors. • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and multi-year initiatives.
