Product Analyst, Amazon Logistics

Remote Full-time
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• 2+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
• 2+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
• Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience building and maintaining automated forecasting models, utilizing regression or statistical methodologies.

Product Analysts are responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. They are analysis experts who leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. They communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods.

Amazon is looking for a Product Analyst to help deliver the flexible planning systems in Amazon Logistics. This Product Analyst will work cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver a flexible labor planning product that is business critical for supporting network growth and employee experience in Amazon’s increasingly complex last mile operations.

Data-driven decision making is at the core of Amazon Logistics’ culture and your work will have a direct impact on product roadmap and long term strategy for the flexible labor planning systems.

Key job responsibilities
• Inform product strategies by defining and updating core metrics for each initiative
• Coordinate and perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for feature launches
• Provide product launch support in close collaboration with program and tech teams
• Monitor product success metrics metrics and perform bridges (explain) how they are tracking against goals in partnership with Program and Product managers for each area
• Track entitlements for launched product features to accurately capture business impacts
• Build and manage related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes in partnership with Business Intelligence Engineers
• Monitor existent metrics, building new metrics, and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
• Generate complex queries to dive deep on process issues
• Innovate to improve customer experience
• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
