Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead the development of long-term plans in alignment with business and IT strategy. The successful candidate will provide industry-leading thought leadership and work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $20-$30 per hour, and we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development of long-term plans in alignment with business and IT strategy Provide industry-leading thought leadership and work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence Develop and maintain architectural patterns and standards Lead enterprise architecture models and documentation Establish communities of practice in technical topics Mentor and tutor other IT staff in technical topics Provide a project-wide view inside the United IT division Lead design procedures and forecasting for large projects, and provide guidance to technical staff across various projects Requirements Essential Qualifications Minimum 10 years of programming development experience with front-end and .NET technologies in enterprise systems with high availability and performance requirements Strong proficiency in React, Javascript, .NET Core, CI/CD, and SQL 2 years of hands-on experience with core AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudFront, Lambda, EKS, ECS, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Understanding of serverless technologies, services, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree Experience in a retail environment What We Offer Competitive Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive salary of $20-$30 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Flexible, hybrid remote arrangement Opportunities for career growth and professional development Comprehensive training and support Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance Work Environment and Culture At United Airlines, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to creating a work environment that is welcoming and inclusive for all employees.
